Italki.com is a social network for learning languages. they have a system called “italki knowledge” which allows users to build a web page of any kind in any language. Pages will be able to include video, sounds, pictures, text, and will focus on things like grammar, pronunciation, slang, culture. The site will help over 200,000 users speaking in 90 different languages. It will probably make it one of the biggest free language learning projects. This site will also help endangered languages that do not ave all the learning materials like English does so they won’t get lost in history.
